Typography
The sliced letters are stacked so that they appear off grid while still flowing in the same geometrical balance in the herringbone lattice reading OFF GRID.
The letters are horizontally sliced and stacked following a herringbone lattice. The underlying theme for the "typography" poster changed to FIND TYPE with the letters "TYPOGRAPHY" placed on the poster.
The sliced letters are replicated to give the illusion that the bottom rows are the mirror image of the top rows. Working with a black background is a challenge in itself, it can be powerful, strong and also classic, distinct and contemporary. I think I succeeded in creating the dark room supporting this poster for image. The underlying theme is LIVING IMAGE.
